School starts back within a couple of weeks or so for us all. So tell us what you’ve been up to, are up to, are gonna be up to this summer.

After grduation, my family and I, minus my mother, went out west and explored the wonders of wide open spaces. We hit Salt Lake City, Utah first then went up throuh Utah and into Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. All in all it was pretty sweet. And gorgeous!! I have never seen such beauty in nature as I did out west.
After my mini vacation, I packed up all my stuff and entered my fist semester in college at Florida State. I was mildly aprehensive because my room mate happened to be a lesbian vegan. Yeah… But as it turns out she and I got along famously. She was a really sweet girl who had her quirks, as did I, and we got over that and actually became pretty close friends. I miss her now that I’m back in Jacksonville, but she and I agreed to get back together when we go back in a couple weeks. But as for the college part of college, it was actually a lot of fun. I met so many people and experienced so many new things; I really feel like I’ve grown up tremendously. Having to do things on my own without Mommy and Daddy holding my hand the whole time has really boosted my confidence in myself. I now know what responsibility really is and how to balance that with this new found freedom.
Aside from college, I’d ahve to say that the highlight of my summer thus far has been the release of the final Harry Potter book!!!! I mean, seriously…

I intend on beaching it and doing whatever other fun things my friends and I happen onto…
